Tinguinha is coming!
Tinguinha will be visiting Lincoln Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Center on the weekend of Friday, January 22nd, 2016.
We have a few special events planned:
On Friday, January 22nd, 2016, Tinguinha will teach a Special, no-gi class from 6:30pm-8:00pm. This class is FREE, and will only be open to LBJJC members.
On Saturday, January 23rd 2016, Tinguinha will be teaching an Open Guard seminar from 1:00pm-4:00pm. The cost will be $65 for LBJJC members, and we will only be accepting cash at the door. Space in the seminar will be limited, so please contact us ASAP to reserve your spot!
(For this week, we will be restricting sign-ups to LBJJC members. If space is still available on Monday, January 18th, we will open the seminar to the general public. Cost of the seminar to non-LBJJC members will be $80.)
Mauricio ‘Tinguinha’ Mariano is a 5th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, with over 30 years of experience. He was among the first athletes to develop and use the Spider Guard position, and was one of the top competitors on one of the top teams (Gracie Barra) in Brazil. He has won or medaled in many of BJJ’s most important competitions, including the Brasiliero’s, the Brazilian Team Championships, the Pan Americans, and the World Championships. In addition to owning his own school for over 10 years, Tinguinha is the national director of the BJJ programs for the UFC gym.
