Training at LBJJC During the Covid-19 Pandemic
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is important for all students to take increased
precautions to share the mat. For that reason, we are asking all students who train
during the pandemic to agree to the following things.

Some groups of people are at higher risk for severe Covid-19 disease. If you are in a
high risk group, or live with someone in a high-risk group, please consider not
training at this time, or taking extra precautions (like wearing a face covering)
during this time. A list of high risk groups can be found here:
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/need-extra-precautions/groups-at-higher-risk.html

You understand that each time you enter Lincoln Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Center, you are
implicitly representing the following:
 To your knowledge, you have not had contact with someone with a positive
coronavirus test.
 You have not experienced the following symptoms in the past 14*** days:
 Fever or chills
 Cough
 Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
 Fatigue
 Muscle or body aches
 Headache
 New loss of taste or smell
 Sore throat
 Nausea or vomiting
 Diarrhea
 You do not have any other reason to believe you have Covid-19 or have been
exposed to it.
Here at LBJJC, we are trying to restart training under conditions that are as safe as
possible. To that end, we are doing the following things:
 Checking the temperature of all students and staff as they enter the gym.
 Enforcing social distancing in the gym during phase 1 of our reopening, and
marking the mats to make it easier to comply.
 Limiting the size and length of classes.
 Closing the locker rooms until further notice.
 Closing the drinking fountain until further notice.
 Closing the reception area until further notice.
 Only allowing class participants, staff, and any contractors needed for
operation into the building during class.
 Cleaning the mats and all commonly touched surfaces before every class.
 Asking students to leave promptly when class is finished, with everything
they brought into the building.
 Recommend, but not require, the use of a face covering during class.
 Requiring employees to self-quarantine if they develop symptoms, have a
positive test, or have been in contact with someone they know has had a
positive test.
However, please note that LBJJC employees have had contact with one another
during the closure.

Lincoln Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Center is taking many precautions to mitigate the risk of
transmission of the virus during training. However, if you train with us, you must
acknowledge that training carries inherent risk and cannot be made perfectly safe.
Please sign and date below to acknowledge you have read and considered the risks
involved in training, and acknowledge the things we have asked you to acknowledge
in this document.
